Supporting Economic Stimulus Policy, PELNI Implements Ticket Discounts Starting Tomorrow, June 5th

Jakarta, June 4th, 2025 – PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia or PT PELNI (Persero) has officially implemented an economic stimulus policy by providing a 50% ticket discount for ticket purchases and departures starting from June 5th, 2025 until departure on July 31st, 2025. This discount is in line with the government's direction in supporting the economic stimulus announced some time ago.

PELNI Passenger Transportation Business Director Nuraini Dessy believes that this discount can have a positive impact on the tourism sector, MSMEs and the local economy in areas visited by PELNI ships. "The 50 percent discount stimulus from the basic fare will be effective starting tomorrow, June 5th for ticket purchases for 25 passenger ships to all routes," said Dessy.

Although expecting public enthusiasm to take advantage of this policy, Dessy reminded that while still paying attention to shipping safety, her party always coordinates with the Port authorities in paying attention to the maximum capacity on board the ship.

As part of efforts to support government programs, PELNI ensures that this discount program can strengthen connectivity between regions in Indonesia, encourage domestic tourism and expand public access to safe and affordable sea transportation. In this case, PELNI contributes to the government's vision to advance the national economy by increasing mobility and tourism activities during school holidays.

The PELNI ship ticket discount stimulus policy applies to all PELNI ship ticket purchase channels, such as the PELNI Mobile application, PELNI website, contact center 162, branch counters, BCA Mobile Lifestyle features, Sukha by Livin Mandiri, BNI agen46, and BRImo, Indomaret and OMI networks of Indogrosir partners, Alfamart and Alfamidi networks, ATA Tour, Fastpay, easybook.com, via.com, MMBC, Darmawisata Indonesia to Versa and Topindo.

For payments, PELNI has collaborated with Bank BTN, BRIVA, BNI Virtual Account, Permata Bank, Mandiri Virtual Account, Indomaret and OMI partners Indogrosir, Alfamart and Alfamidi networks, iSaku, Finpay, and Fastpay.

The terms and conditions for ticket discounts are as follows:

1. The discount period applies to ticket purchases and departures starting from June 5, 2025 to departures on July 31, 2025.
2. Ticket purchases before June 5, 2025 at normal rates cannot be refunded.
3. Discounts do not apply to departures after July 31, 2025.
4. Discounts apply to purchases of class and economy tickets on all Passenger Ship routes.
5. Discounts apply to 50% of the basic fare, excluding insurance and Port entry passes.
6. Discounts apply to all official ticket purchase channels of PT PELNI (Persero).
7. Passengers traveling must match the identity listed on the ticket.
8. If the discount ticket quota has run out before July 31, 2025, then subsequent ticket purchases will be charged the normal rate.
