PELNI once again achieved a notable milestone by receiving the “Trusted Company Based on Corporate Governance Perception Index (CGPI)” award at the Corporate Governance Perception Index (CGPI) Award 2025. The award was organized by The Indonesian Institute for Corporate Governance (IICG) in collaboration with SWA Magazine, and the results were announced during the awarding ceremony held at the Shangri-La Hotel Jakarta on Tuesday (25/11).
The award was received directly by PELNI’s Director of Finance and Risk Management, Anik Hidayati. This recognition was granted to PELNI for its success in consistently and sustainably implementing good corporate governance. The award also serves as concrete evidence of PELNI’s commitment to maintaining public trust through transparent, accountable, and professional corporate management.
This year, the Corporate Governance Perception Index Award 2025 carries the theme “Building Dynamic Corporate Capabilities Within the Framework of Good Corporate Governance (GCG).” The theme emphasizes the importance of adaptive and sustainable governance amid evolving industry dynamics. Through the CGPI program, companies are encouraged to integrate and strengthen the use of internal and external resources to build new capabilities, enhance transparency, and improve competitiveness in an increasingly challenging business landscape.
The CGPI assessment process is conducted through strict and comprehensive stages. The evaluation includes completing self-assessment questionnaires by internal parties and stakeholders, reviewing corporate policy documents, and presenting materials in accordance with the assessment theme. Three key aspects are assessed—governance structure, governance process, and governance outcome—which collectively reflect the overall quality of corporate governance implementation.
