Study on Board is designed to facilitate vocational schools/academies requiring field learning and training for students, enabling them to gain insight and experience before entering the professional world of shipping.

With Study on Board, participants gain an understanding and have the opportunity to practice seamanship exclusively through introductory activities covering basic nautical skills, engineering, management, hospitality, and other ship operational activities.

The Seaside Package adapts to the ship's docking times. The Sailing Package adapts to the KM Lawit's schedule for the Semarang-Karimunjawa (round trip) route and the KM Kelud's schedule for the Jakarta-Medan (round trip).

 

The Study On Board Package is also available on other ship routes.

  1. Participants arrive at the port.
  2. Participants board the ship and begin their tour.
  3. Participants are divided into two groups: Nautical and Engineering.
  4. Participants are assigned to guard each group.
  5. Participants undertake on-board study.
  6. Participants take photos on the upper deck.
  7. Participants attend the inauguration and closing ceremony.
  8. Participants leave the ship and port.
