No: 05.27/53/PR/V/2026
Jakarta, May 27, 2026 – PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia or PT PELNI (Persero), through its Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL/CSR) program, once again demonstrated its commitment to social welfare by actively participating in the provision of qurbani livestock for Eid al-Adha 1447 H.
This year, PELNI distributed qurbani livestock across various operational areas, ranging from its Head Office to several branch offices in Eastern and Central Indonesia, including Denpasar, Ambon, and Semarang.
PELNI Corporate Secretary Ditto Pappilanda stated that the program reflects the company’s commitment to creating social value for communities.
"The distribution of qurbani livestock is expected to strengthen the positive relationship between the company and communities surrounding PELNI’s operational areas," he said.
Ditto added that the program forms part of PELNI’s ongoing CSR commitment to delivering tangible benefits to society, particularly during Eid al-Adha, which symbolizes the spirit of sharing and social solidarity.
"PELNI remains committed to implementing CSR programs that generate positive impacts and are directly felt by the community. We believe that this contribution is not merely the distribution of assistance, but also an effort to strengthen social bonds, foster togetherness, and demonstrate PELNI’s presence among the people, especially during a blessed occasion such as Eid al-Adha," Ditto added.
The CSR activity was carried out in accordance with regulations issued by the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) and aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Pillar 2, Zero Hunger. Through this initiative, PELNI hopes to help meet communities’ needs for quality qurbani meat while strengthening social ties and togetherness during this meaningful celebration.
This qurbani program is expected to serve as a tangible contribution by the company in fostering stronger relationships with communities and supporting improved quality of life across PELNI’s operational regions.
