PT PELNI (Persero) held a BUMN Service event as part of the series of activities celebrating the company’s 73rd Anniversary on April 28, 2025. The event took place at SDS Pantai Indah Cilincing, North Jakarta, on Wednesday (May 7).
During the event, PELNI distributed 200 life jackets and food packages to Cilincing fishermen, while the company’s Board of Directors also took part in teaching the children at the school.
The BUMN Service event was attended by PELNI President Director Tri Andayani, along with the company’s Board of Directors, Vice Presidents, Jakarta Branch Head Dicky Darmawandi, and Secretary of the Jakarta Education Office, Taga Radja Gah.
Through its CSR program, PELNI also provided maritime-themed reading books for the SDS Pantai Indah library, as well as laptops and a projector to support school activities. The addition of maritime reading materials is expected to boost maritime literacy among elementary students and broaden their knowledge about the shipping industry and marine conservation.
Carrying the theme “Going Extra Miles Beyond the Target”, PELNI reaffirms its commitment to delivering greater and sustainable benefits for maritime communities and coastal residents in its operational areas.
