PT PELNI (Persero) Again Presents “Free Homecoming with SOEs 2026
Jakarta, 13 February 2026 – PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia or PT PELNI (Persero) officially opens registration for the Free Homecoming with SOEs 2026 program starting today, Friday (13/2). Carrying the theme Safe Homecoming, Sharing Hope, this program provides an opportunity for the public to return to their hometowns using safe and comfortable sea transportation free of charge.
This year, PELNI is providing 800 free tickets through two PELNI passenger vessels operating from Kalimantan to Java. Registration will be open until 28 February 2026 or until the quota is filled.
PELNI Corporate Secretary Ditto Pappilanda stated that this program is PELNI’s contribution to supporting smooth homecoming travel flows while also offering safe, comfortable, and affordable journeys for the Indonesian public.
“We welcome the return of the Free Homecoming with SOEs 2026 program this year. PELNI has prepared KM Dorolonda and KM Kelimutu to serve communities in Kalimantan so they can reunite with their families in Java free of charge,” said Ditto.
The public is advised to ensure the completeness of their data and documents during registration so that the verification process can run smoothly.
“We also urge the public to register immediately because the quota is limited and registration applies on a first come, first served basis,” Ditto added.
PELNI is committed to continuously supporting government programs aimed at improving transportation accessibility for the public, especially during important moments such as the Lebaran travel season.
“Through collaboration with other SOEs, PELNI is ready to provide the best services so that this year’s Lebaran homecoming can take place safely, comfortably, and full of hope for families across Indonesia,” Ditto concluded.
