PELNI held a 2022 "Rapat Pimpinan" on August 3 - 5 2022 at the Ayana MidPlaza Hotel, Jakarta which was opened by the Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi with the President Commissioner and President Director of PT PELNI (Persero)

Jakarta, August 9, 2022 - PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia or PT PELNI (Persero) holds the 2022 "Rapat Pimpinan (Rapim)" at the Ballroom of the Ayana MidPlaza Hotel Jakarta from Wednesday (3/8) to Friday (5/8). The meeting in the second semester has the theme "Strengthening Fundamentals and Company Transformation Towards Sustainable Growth".

The PT PELNI Rapim activity this time was opened by the Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi and attended by President Commissioner Ali Masykur Musa and other members of the Board of Commissioners, President Director Tri Andayani and the ranks. On this occasion, Budi Karya expressed his appreciation and enthusiasm to all ranks who have worked hard to carry out the assignment program from the Government, including reaching all corners of the country through the assignment of Pioneer Ships.

In his message, Budi Karya also reminded PT PELNI about the message of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ir. Joko Widodo regarding the transformation that companies must carry out to continue to grow and innovate to create something meaningful for the community.

"It's true what is said here, we will carry out a transformation. But the transformation that is conveyed is not just words, but actually done. It's simple, two things need to be done, namely if you do activities, don't do things like they used to or are no longer agile, and the second is doing meaningful work for the community, if these two things are done, we will definitely succeed," he explained.

Furthermore, in this year's agenda, there are 8 sessions filled by several speakers. Beginning with the discussion on the Evaluation of the Management of Public Service Obligations (PSO) & Subsidies presented by the Vice President (VP) of PSO, and other sessions presented by each VP of the Non-Commercial Goods Transportation Business, Commercial Goods Transportation Business, Non-Commercial Passenger Transportation Business Commercial, Commercial Passenger Transport Business, Agency, HR, and Head of DPA/QHSSE.

Not only that, Tortama VII BPK RI Novy Gregory and Special Staff III to the Minister of SOEs Arya Sinulingga also participated as resource persons in a series of Sharing Session events on the second day, Thursday (4/8).

Behavior & Performance for Leader training was also given by Uton Wartono & Team to the participants of the 2022 PELNI Rapim on the last day, Friday (5/8). The training aims to establish standards of behavior in communicating and serving customers, especially in all PELNI branches.

Apart from that, the President Director of PT PELNI Tri Andayani or familiarly called Anda conveyed that the implementation of this Rapim was carried out to evaluate PELNI's performance and also the policies that would be carried out in the future.

"On this occasion we give the highest appreciation to all PELNI personnel because until the first semester of 2022, PELNI Group's profit was recorded at 120 billion or 117% of the 2022 RKAP target. For this achievement, we must not be complacent, we must take more initiative , more creative and more aggressive in capturing commercial business opportunities that exist around us," you said.

Before the event ended, there was a reading of the conclusions and follow-up plans of the rapim as well as the signing of a commitment to achieving the 2022 target which was signed by all levels of the Board of Directors, Vice President, Branch Head and Ship Master.

This rapim activity was closed by President Commissioner Ali Masykur Musa by giving directions and knocking the hammer to mark the end of the PT PELNI (Persero) 2022 leadership meeting.

The meeting of PT PELNI 2022 is carried out online and offline while still implementing strict health protocols.
