Vice President of Indonesia and Deputy SOE Minister Visit PELNI Operation Room in Working

Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka and Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Aminuddin Ma’ruf visited PELNI Headquarters to review the company’s fleet monitoring technology and operational readiness for the 2025 Eid transportation period.

Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Gibran Rakabuming Raka, accompanied by Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) Aminuddin Ma’ruf, conducted a working visit to the PELNI Headquarters on Monday, April 7. One of the main agendas was to inspect PELNI’s Operation Room, which serves as the central hub for real-time monitoring of the entire fleet, especially during the 2025 Eid transportation period.

During the visit, Vice President Gibran and Deputy Minister Aminuddin expressed their appreciation for PELNI’s strategic role in maintaining national connectivity through sea transportation. The technology and systems in place within the Operation Room became a major highlight for ensuring smooth return flows after the Idulfitri 1446 H holidays. PELNI President Director Tri Andayani personally accompanied the visit and presented the company’s readiness to handle the surge in passengers during the Eid season.

In the brief meeting, various efforts carried out by PELNI were explained, ranging from safety and security measures to improvements in passenger services. The Vice President and Deputy Minister also provided several suggestions to further strengthen service systems and fleet management, in order to deliver reliable and equitable sea transportation for all Indonesians.
