Free Return Tickets Fully Booked, Only One Route Still Available

Jakarta, April 3, 2025 – PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia or PT PELNI (Persero), under assignment from the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation, is once again supporting the smooth flow of the 2025 Eid return travel by providing free tickets on PELNI ships. One such route is Tanjung Priok – Batam, scheduled to depart tomorrow, Friday (April 4), via KM Kelud, with a quota of 400 participants.

PELNI Corporate Secretary Evan Eryanto stated that the Ministry of Transportation has tasked PELNI with providing 4,625 free tickets across 15 return trip routes for the 2025 Eid season.

"Following the success of our free ticket program during the homecoming flow, we are now ready to serve passengers for the return journey. We’ve seen very high enthusiasm from the public—out of the 15 routes provided, only one route remains available and is just awaiting its departure date," said Evan.

The only remaining route with available free return tickets is Sorong – Manokwari, operated by KM Labobar, scheduled to depart on April 7, 2025. Evan encouraged those still in need of free tickets to register for this route before the final quota runs out.

The following return routes are fully booked and no longer available:

  1. Tanjung Priok – Batam (April 4)

  2. Bau-Bau – Makassar (April 6)

  3. Tanjung Perak – Makassar (April 6)

  4. Tanjung Perak – Kumai (April 6)

  5. Belawan – Batam (April 7)

  6. Tanjung Emas – Sampit (April 7)

  7. Makassar – Semayang (April 7)

  8. Tanjung Perak – Semayang (April 7)

  9. Bima – Makassar (April 9)

  10. Belawan – Batam (April 10)

  11. Banda Naira – Ambon (April 12)

  12. Bau-Bau – Ambon (April 12)

Terms and Conditions for the 2025 Free Ticket Program on PELNI ships include:

  1. Register via the link: https://linktr.ee/DaftarTiketGratisLebaran2025

  2. Passengers must have a valid ID card (KTP) and Family Card (KK).

  3. Maximum of 4 people per family may register.

  4. Registration must be completed at the latest 3 days before departure.

  5. Ticket printing must be done at the latest 2 days before departure.

  6. Free tickets are for Economy class only.

  7. Free tickets may not be sold or transferred.

  8. Free tickets cannot be canceled.

  9. Passengers must travel under the identity used during registration.

This Eid season, PELNI is operating 25 passenger vessels and 30 pioneer vessels. The total transport capacity for the 25 passenger ships is 48,323 pax, and 11,889 pax for the 30 pioneer vessels—bringing the combined total capacity for 2025 Eid to 60,212 pax.

To deliver a Safe and Joyful Homecoming, as envisioned by the Government and the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises, PELNI customers can now access services through digital platforms such as the PELNI Mobile app and the official PELNI website.

PELNI tickets are also available through various banking and retail platforms, including BCA Mobile Lifestyle, Sukha Livin Mandiri, BNI Agen46, Indomaret and OMI partners, Alfamart and Alfamidi, ATA Tour, Fastpay, easybook.com, via.com, MMBC, Darmawisata Indonesia, Versa, and Topindo.

For payments, PELNI partners with Bank BTN, BRIVA, BNI Virtual Account, Permata Bank, Mandiri Virtual Account, Indomaret and OMI partners, Alfamart and Alfamidi, iSaku, Finpay, and Fastpay.
