- What cargo can be shipped via PELNI Ship?
All cargo that is not included in the category of dangerous goods.
- What is a Dry Container?
This type of container is used to transport various types of cargo that do not require special attention regarding temperature.
- What is a Reefer Container?
A container equipped with a refrigeration system (refrigerated container) to preserve or maintain the temperature of the commodities inside.
- What is General Cargo?
Cargo consisting of various types of goods that are packaged and shipped in pieces. This cargo shipment generally consists of small units such as 25 crates, 30 drums, 60 pallets, 300 sacks, 50 cartons, and so on.
- What is the type of Redpack cargo?
A cargo consisting of various types of goods and not dangerous goods packed in standard bags labeled Redpack with a maximum volume of 0.25m3 or 100 cm x 50 cm x 50 cm with a maximum weight of 50 Kg and multiples thereof.
- How to pay on the Mycargoo application?

- How to book PELNI tickets?
PELNI tickets can be booked online at www.pelni.co.id, PELNI Mobile application (Android & iOS), PELNI contact center at 021-162 / 0811-162-1-162, the nearest Alfamart and Indomaret and travel agents (the list of travel agents can be checked via https://bit.ly/DaftarAgenPenjualanPELNI).
- How to pay for PELNI tickets after ordering?
Payment can be made at Alfamart, Indomaret, PPOB FastPay agents, VA Bank (Mandiri, BNI, BRI, BTN) and FinPay
- How to get information on the estimated price of PELNI tickets?

- How many categories of PELNI Passenger Ship Passenger Fares are there?
There are 2 categories of PELNI Passenger Ship Passenger Fares, namely:
Infant category (for ages 0 to 23 months / under 2 years) is charged 10% of the adult fare.
Adult passenger category (age 24 months / 2 years and above) is charged 100%.
- How many types of class rooms and maximum number of passengers are there on PELNI Passenger Ships?
The room class types and number of passengers are as follows:
Class 1A = 2 adult passengers
Class 1B = 4 adult passengers
Class 2A = 6 adult passengers
Class 2B = 8 adult passengers
1 adult passenger can bring a maximum of 2 infants.
- What facilities do passengers get during the cruise?
Passengers will get facilities according to the ticket purchased (Economy Cabin or Class Room) and get 3 meals a day during the cruise.
- How long before departure can I book and buy PELNI tickets via www.pelni.co.id?
Tickets must be booked and purchased a maximum of 1 day before the departure schedule
- How many passengers can I book in one reservation?
A maximum of 10 passengers can be booked in one reservation.
- Is the E-Ticket valid as a Ticket?
No. E-Tickets must be exchanged for original ship tickets and/or boarding passes at the branch/port of departure starting 24 hours before the ship's departure.
- What documents need to be brought when checking in?
Identity card in the form of KTP/Family Card for Indonesian citizens or Passport for foreign nationals along with e-tickets to be exchanged for tickets and/or boarding passes.
- How do I cancel a ticket? And how much does it cost?
Currently, ticket cancellations can only be served through the PELNI Branch counter with a cancellation fee of 50% of the Basic Fare.
- Can passengers change the ship's schedule or route and how much does it cost?
Passengers can change the ship's schedule or route through the nearest PELNI Branch Counter by bringing an e-ticket and original identity card (KTP/Passport). Changes to the ship's schedule or route can be made no later than 5 (five) hours before the ship's departure, provided that passengers have not printed their boarding passes or boarded at the Port. Passengers are charged an administration fee of 10% (ten percent) of the previous basic ticket fare plus the new ticket fare, if the previous ticket fare is higher than the new ticket fare then there is no refund of the ticket difference;
- Can Passengers change classes and how much does it cost?
Passengers can change classes from Economy to Class 1 or Class 2 (Supplement / upgrade class) and are charged an administration fee of IDR 10,000 (ten thousand rupiah).
- How much free baggage can Passengers carry on the Ship?
Each passenger can carry a maximum of 40 (forty) kg of free baggage with maximum dimensions of 70x40x35 cm.
- If the baggage exceeds the capacity, will there be an additional fee and how much is the fee?
Yes, baggage that exceeds the capacity will be subject to an over baggage rate according to the applicable terms and conditions.
- What items are not allowed to be carried during the voyage?
Passengers are prohibited from bringing animals; plants prohibited by port quarantine; narcotics, psychotropics and other additives; firearms and sharp weapons; all flammable/explosive items; all items that smell bad, fishy or because of their nature can disturb/damage the health and disturb the comfort of other passengers; items that according to the boarding officer or baggage inspector due to their condition and size, weight/volume exceed the baggage provisions; items prohibited by laws and regulations.
- What if the luggage is left on the ship?
Passengers can contact the PT PELNI (Persero) contact center by telephone at 021-162 / WA: 0811-162-1-162 to inform about the item, but PT PELNI (Persero) is not responsible for the loss of any items.
- What if Passengers experience problems or have complaints regarding personal data and ticket booking services?
Regarding personal data and ticket booking services, Passengers can contact the PT PELNI (Persero) contact center by telephone at 021-162 / WA: 0811-162-1-162. -
Is Passenger's personal data stored safely?
Passenger's personal data is guaranteed to be secure and PT PELNI (Persero) is committed to implementing the provisions of Law Number 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection (UU PDP).

- What is SEAWIFI?
SEAWIFI is a paid internet access service on PELNI Ships for passengers with various internet package options.
- How do I access SEAWIFI?
You can activate wifi on your gadget and select the ‘SEAWIFI’ network, then enter the whatsapp number registered on your gadget and then pay for the internet package you choose via online payment or the nearest Ship Shop.
- How much is the SEAWIFI internet package?
4-hour package, 8 Mbps speed = IDR 30,000, -
6-hour package, 10 Mbps speed = IDR 40,000, -
12-hour package, 6 Mbps speed = IDR 50,000, -
If you make a purchase at the Ship Shop, there will be an additional admin fee of IDR 5,000, -
- How long is the SEAWIFI internet package?
The duration of the SEAWIFI internet package depends on the package you choose. The SEAWIFI internet package will continue to run after being activated according to the duration stated, you cannot temporarily deactivate the active internet package.
- Can the SEAWIFI internet package I purchased be used on other devices?
You cannot use SEAWIFI internet access other than on devices with the number you registered previously.
- Can the SEAWIFI internet package be used in all PELNI Ship locations?
You can maximize the use of SEAWIFI internet access in strategic areas including the Cafeteria, Outdoor Area, Dining Salon, Information Hall Area and passenger economy seat area.
- What if my SEAWIFI internet connection is disconnected?
Here are some tips so that your SEAWIFI internet connection is not disconnected:
Make sure you still have SEAWIFI internet package duration.
Please check the SEAWIFI internet package duration periodically via the SEAWIFI landing page or SEAWIFI customer care on Whatsapp;
Restart the wifi network on your gadget and re-select the 'SEAWIFI' network, then log in again by entering the whatsapp number that has been registered for the internet package;
Or you can consult with SEAWIFI customer care or visit the nearest Ship Shop.
- Can I get a refund if the SEAWIFI internet package has been purchased?
Internet packages that have been purchased cannot be refunded, but if your internet package is not connected, the duration of internet usage will be stopped automatically so that the internet package can still be used until the active duration of active internet usage runs out.
