Beware of Being Late, Free Motorcycle Return Flow to Jakarta is Waiting at Tanjung Emas Port, Semarang
Jakarta, April 15, 2024 -- The second wave of return flow in the 2024 Free Motorcycle Homecoming Program with KM Dobonsolo owned by PT PELNI (Persero) on the Semarang - Jakarta route will depart from Tanjung Emas Port, Semarang, Monday (15/4) afternoon. Travelers who have registered or go-show and will return to Jakarta are advised to come to Tanjung Emas Port, Semarang before 14.00 WIB to re-register.
Head of PELNI Corporate Secretariat Evan Eryanto said that the journey of KM Dobonsolo from Semarang today will be the last wave for the return flow of the 2024 Free Motorcycle Homecoming Program organized by the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation.
"A total of two voyages each for the homecoming flow and the return flow from and to Semarang. For departures to Jakarta, the ship will depart no later than five in the afternoon, so don't be left behind by still bringing your identity and STNK," said Evan.
For the first wave of the return flow yesterday, Saturday (13/4), KM Dobondolo transported 1,705 participants and 663 motorbikes from Tanjung Emas Port, Semarang. Meanwhile, for the second wave today, the PELNI 3in1 passenger ship plans to transport 2,423 participants with 1,008 motorbikes based on temporary registrants.
"As with the Government's hopes, we hope that the public can take advantage of this free transportation to return to Jakarta so that they can return to Jakarta safely and securely and return to their normal activities," added Evan.
KM Dobonsolo is a type 2000 passenger ship made in Germany in 1992. The ship, which was originally able to accommodate 2,000 people, can now only carry 1,000 people after being modified or overhauled in early 2000 so that it can carry passengers as well as containers and four-wheeled and two-wheeled vehicles.
For the 2024 Free Motorcycle Homecoming service, KM Dobonsolo is captained by Capt. Hery Setyadi assisted by approximately 100 crew members.
