PELNI Earns Two Awards at TJSL & CSR Awards 2025 for Advancing Sustainable Economy and Energy
Jakarta, June 26, 2025 – PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia or PT PELNI (Persero) has once again achieved recognition by receiving two awards at the TJSL & CSR Awards 2025, organized by BUMN Track in Jakarta on Wednesday (June 25).
The awards in the Economic Pillar and Environmental Pillar categories were received by PELNI's Vice President of Treasury and TJSL, Fauziah Ferryna, accompanied by the TJSL Manager, in recognition of PELNI’s commitment to implementing Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programs that have a positive impact on society and the national economy.
The Economic Pillar award was granted for the success of the independent village program in Cianjur, West Java, which has enhanced MSME capacity and promoted community-based economic development. Meanwhile, the Environmental Pillar award was given for the biogas digester development program in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara, which converts livestock waste into renewable energy for community benefit.
PELNI’s Vice President of Treasury and TJSL, Fauziah Ferryna, expressed gratitude for the recognition. “We are very thankful to the Ministry of SOEs, the TJSL & CSR Awards organizers, and the community for supporting PELNI’s TJSL programs. Through our independent village initiatives and renewable energy development, PELNI will continue to serve as a bridge to advance local economies and improve community welfare,” said Fauziah.
The event was also attended by Deputy Speaker of the People’s Consultative Assembly, Dr. Edy Soeparno, SH, MH, who acknowledged the contributions of SOEs in supporting sustainable development.
“This award affirms that PELNI is not only a connector of regional connectivity, but also a contributor to strengthening the economic, environmental, and social pillars through integrated and sustainable TJSL programs,” Fauziah added.
All of PELNI’s TJSL programs are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) initiated by the United Nations and adopted by the Ministry of SOEs into the TJSL Programs across all state-owned enterprises. In addition to the social pillar, PELNI's TJSL structure is based on economic, environmental, and legal governance pillars.
