PELNI Ready to Support Economic Stimulus Program with Up to 30% Discount on PELNI Ship Tickets
Jakarta, February 11, 2026 – PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia or PT PELNI (Persero) has once again been assigned to support transportation discounts as part of the economic stimulus program ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1447 H / Lebaran 2026. The transportation discount program applies to economy class ticket purchases starting Wednesday (11/2).
Under the 2026 Lebaran economic stimulus program, the Government is providing a 30 percent discount on PELNI ship tickets based on the basic economy class fare, excluding insurance fees and port charges.
PELNI President Director Tri Andayani, commonly known as Anda, stated that the program is expected to stimulate the economy by offering more affordable PELNI ship tickets.
“The cheaper the ticket prices, the more money people will have left to spend in their hometowns,” said Anda.
The 30% discount applies exclusively to economy class across all PELNI passenger ship routes for departures from March 11 to April 5, 2026, with approximately 445,000 passengers projected to benefit from the program.
Anda added that this program is part of the Government’s policy to support public mobility during the 2026 Lebaran transportation period, while also maintaining purchasing power and ensuring smooth homecoming and return flows across Indonesia.
“The sale of discounted transportation tickets is available simultaneously through all official PELNI channels starting today, including the PELNI Mobile application. We encourage the public to book tickets promptly to avoid running out of quota, considering the high enthusiasm for similar programs in previous years,” Anda added.
Through this transportation discount program, PELNI remains committed to providing safe, comfortable, and affordable sea transportation services for all Indonesians. PELNI also ensures smooth operations, coordinates with port authorities and relevant stakeholders, and fully implements safety protocols during the 2026 Lebaran transportation period.
The economic stimulus policy for discounted PELNI ship tickets applies across all PELNI ticket purchase channels, including the PELNI Mobile application, the PELNI website, contact center 162, branch ticket counters, the BCA Mobile Lifestyle feature, OVO, Sukha by Livin’ Mandiri, BNI Agen46, BRImo, Indomaret and OMI (Indogrosir partner) networks, Alfamart and Alfamidi networks, ATA Tour, Fastpay, easybook.com, via.com, MMBC, Darmawisata Indonesia, as well as Versa and Topindo.
For payment services, PELNI has partnered with Bank BTN, BRIVA, BNI Virtual Account, Permata Bank, Mandiri Virtual Account, Indomaret and OMI (Indogrosir partner) networks, Alfamart and Alfamidi networks, iSaku, Finpay, and Fastpay.
