In order to strengthen the implementation of the core values of AKHLAK, particularly the aspect of “Harmony,” PT PELNI (Persero) held a CFO Talks & Respectful Workplace Policy (RWP) Seminar on Thursday, July 17. Carrying the theme “Fun at Work, No Toxicity,” the event was conducted in a hybrid format and attended by employees from the head office, branch offices, and ships.
The event was opened with remarks from PELNI’s Director of Human Resources and General Affairs, Heri Purnomo, whose presence demonstrated management’s support for efforts to create a healthy, inclusive, and respectful work environment across all levels of the company.
The activity aimed to build shared awareness of the importance of creating a workplace free from discrimination, bullying, harassment, and various forms of physical or mental violence. A positive and supportive work environment is believed to enhance employee well-being and support the company’s sustainability.
In the first session, PELNI’s Director of Finance and Risk Management, Anik Hidayati, highlighted the importance of building success on a strong foundation. She explained how mapping personal strengths to company expectations and mastering various competencies are key to career development, and also shared inspiring stories from her professional journey at BRI.
Next, Rangga W. Primanto, a speaker and author focused on work culture, discussed the implementation of the Respectful Workplace Policy (RWP). He outlined various causes of job dissatisfaction, characteristics of toxic work environments, the impact of a healthy work culture, and the 5W1H strategies that can be applied to create a respectful workplace.
At the end, a team from Bank BNI provided education on personal financial management and the use of banking services available to employees. Through this series of activities, it is hoped that the spirit of maintaining and building a healthy work culture will continue to be instilled within PT PELNI (Persero), supporting the company’s transformation and sustainability in the future.
