Strengthening Integrity Culture: PELNI Collaborates with KPK in Anti-Corruption Workshop

PELNI organized an anti-corruption technical guidance and outreach session as a concrete effort to uphold good corporate governance and promote a culture of integrity.

PT PELNI (Persero) held a “Socialization and Technical Guidance on Empowering the Business Sector Against Corruption” in Jakarta on Friday, May 23. This initiative reflects the company’s commitment to strengthening good corporate governance (GCG) and supporting efforts to eradicate corruption as mandated by Law No. 19 of 2019.

The event was attended by several representatives from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), including Acting Deputy for Prevention & Monitoring Aminudin, Head of Task Force V Rosana Fransisca, as well as Task Force members Jeji Azizi, Jeffry, and Nurmalita Sukma.

PELNI’s full Board of Directors was present, including Director of Finance, Risk Management & Information Technology Anik Hidayati, Director of Human Capital & General Affairs Heri Purnomo, Director of Passenger Transport Nuraini Dessy, Director of Freight and Sea Toll Transport Kokok Susanto, and Director of Fleet & Technical Affairs Robert MP Sinaga. The session was also attended offline by directors of subsidiaries, vice presidents, branch heads, and managers, while other employees joined online.

In her remarks, Director of Finance, Risk Management & IT, Anik Hidayati emphasized the importance of fostering integrity and an anti-corruption mindset within the company. “We realize that building an anti-corruption system is not a one-time goal but an ongoing process that requires consistency,” she said.

As part of its anti-corruption efforts, PELNI has implemented six soft structure guidelines (including Board Manual, GCG policies, Code of Conduct, Gratification policy, and Whistleblowing System), achieved a “Very Good” GCG score of 87.136 from BPKP, reported 100% compliance in its 2024 wealth disclosure (LHKPN), integrated five ISO standards, and adopted KPK’s Gratifikasi Online (GOL) system.

Through this program, PELNI reaffirms its commitment to fostering a culture of transparency and accountability, in support of its vision to become a world-class, competitive shipping company rooted in good governance.
