PELNI Wins Indonesia Corporate Secretary & Corporate Communication Award 2020

PT PELNI (Persero) won first place in the Indonesia Corporate Secretary & Corporate Communication Award 2020 (ICCA) award

Jakarta, 7 February 2020 - PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia (Persero) - PT PELNI (Persero) won first place in the Indonesia Corporate Secretary & Corporate Communication Award 2020 (ICCA) version of the Economic Review Magazine in the category of State Owned Enterprises Company in the Transportation Maritime sector in Jakarta on Friday afternoon (7/2).

The award was given by Irsila Rachmadiana, S. Sn, MM Chairperson of the ICCA V 2020 Jury as well as the Founder of Economic Review Magazine and received directly by Yahya Kuncoro as Head of Corporate Secretary of PT PELNI (Persero). On this occasion, Yahya said that this award is a form of appreciation for the performance of the management of corporate communications that have been carried out by the Company. "We are certainly grateful and thank you for giving this award to PELNI. This is one form of appreciation for management, especially we in the Corporate Secretariat section to continue to design and implement good communication strategies and programs for PELNI," he said.

Yahya further said that the award was able to provide additional enthusiasm for management to improve the Company's performance, especially in managing the Company's communication strategies and programs in building PELNI's reputation.

The Indonesia Corporate Secretary & Communication Award (ICCA) is the highest award / appreciation given to TBK and Non-TBK Companies for Private, BUMN, and BUMD organized by the Economic Review Magazine, Ideku Group and the Indonesia-Asia Institute.

PELNI as a State-Owned Enterprise that operates in the field of sea transportation has currently operated as many as 26 passenger ships with more than 90 harbor ports serving 1,239 sections. In addition to passenger transportation, PELNI also serves 46 pioneer ship routes that stop at 305 ports, 4,620 sections.
