The Top Human Capital Awards 2025, organized by TopBusiness Magazine in collaboration with several reputable institutions, was successfully held on Tuesday (November 4) in Jakarta. This year, a total of 133 companies participated and completed all stages of the assessment process.
In this prestigious event, PT PELNI (Persero) achieved remarkable recognition by winning two awards simultaneously — Top Human Capital Awards 2025 #Star 4 and The Most Committed Top Leader on Human Capital 2025.
Both awards were received directly by PELNI’s Vice President of Human Capital, Opik Taupik, along with Manager of Organizational Development and Information Systems, Maria Ulfah. This achievement stands as concrete proof of PELNI’s commitment to developing a human capital management system aligned with the company’s business strategy, while also recognizing the consistent leadership that supports talent development within the organization.
Carrying the theme “The Role of Talent Mobility and HCMS as Strategic Business Partner”, the award highlights the importance of synergy between talent mobility and Human Capital Management System (HCMS) in strengthening corporate competitiveness and sustainability. Through this event, participants were not only evaluated for their achievements but also encouraged to share best practices, conduct benchmarking, and reinforce their commitment to future-oriented human capital management.
The evaluation process was conducted through the Plenary Session of the Jury Board, focusing on three key aspects: the alignment of HCMS with sustainable business growth strategies, the effectiveness of system implementation, and innovative HR development initiatives that could be recommended to other organizations. Each of these elements was assessed based on the company’s resulting business performance outcomes.
The Top Human Capital Awards are categorized into several levels, ranging from Star 1 to Star 5 as the highest recognition. PELNI’s Star 4 achievement reflects a high level of maturity and alignment between its human capital strategy and overall business direction. This accomplishment further reinforces PELNI’s position as an adaptive company committed to developing human resources as a key pillar of sustainable growth.
