2025 BUMN Homecoming Post Opens at Tanjung Emas Port, Semarang to Welcome Eid Travelers to Central Java

Semarang, March 27, 2025 – PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia or PT PELNI (Persero), together with ID FOOD and Jasa Raharja, welcomed Eid travelers disembarking from PELNI ships at Tanjung Emas Port, Semarang, on Thursday (3/27). Homecoming passengers from Sampit, Central Kalimantan, who were exhausted after their sea journey, were able to enjoy free massages at the 2025 Joint BUMN Homecoming Post located in the arrival area.

Agus Supriyanto, Head of PELNI Semarang Branch, stated that the 2025 Joint BUMN Post aims to provide comfort for travelers, while also highlighting the role of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) during the Eid homecoming period of 1446 H. "Together with ID FOOD and Jasa Raharja, we want to show BUMN's commitment to creating a happy and enjoyable homecoming experience. We hope this Eid brings happiness to all Indonesians," said Agus, who was also present to welcome the passengers arriving on the PELNI ship, KM Lawit.

A total of 1,473 people arrived at Tanjung Emas Port in Semarang after a 34-hour journey from Sampit Port, Central Kalimantan, which departed on Tuesday (3/26) afternoon.

In addition to free massage services, the 2025 BUMN Homecoming Post—presented by PELNI, ID FOOD, and Jasa Raharja—also offers health check-ups, including blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol screenings. Free medication is also available for passengers found to be ill.

"Passengers coming off a long journey are bound to be tired, or perhaps seasick, so they can visit the BUMN Homecoming Post for a check-up. Or if they're feeling sore, they can get a reflexology massage—it's all free," added Agus.

To create a joyful homecoming experience as hoped for by the Government and the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises, PELNI passengers can now access digital platforms such as the PELNI Mobile app or the official PELNI website.

PELNI tickets are also available on various banking apps like BCA Mobile’s Lifestyle feature, Sukha Livin Mandiri, BNI agen46, and BRImo, as well as Indomaret and OMI partner networks, Alfamart and Alfamidi, ATA Tour, Fastpay, easybook.com, via.com, MMBC, Darmawisata Indonesia, Versa, and Topindo.

For payments, PELNI partners with Bank BTN, BRIVA, BNI Virtual Account, Permata Bank, Mandiri Virtual Account, Indomaret and its partner OMI, Alfamart and Alfamidi networks, iSaku, Finpay, and Fastpay.
